Project Scope brand’s visual identity, communication guidelines, collateral materials such as business cards and catalogue, design of 58 labels for different products and the supplier development for label production.
A new design project straight to Alaska.
AK Fermentation Co. sells fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut, kimchi, mustards and pickles, which are very popular in Alaska since the snow makes it impossible to produce vegetables for a few months of the year. During the summer, when the vegetables grow, AKFC absorbs organic veggies from local producers to create delicious fermented foods.
Commercialization started at Farmer's Market and will now expand to points of sale throughout the state of Alaska and other regions of the USA, so the new design of the visual identity and labels was necessary to convey a professional and reliable image for the brand, as well as communicating the it's personality.
The labels from AK Fermentation Co. were designed to be dynamic because the brand uses different types of containers, allowing the client to keep the same design no matter the container. That makes the products easily recognizable by customers at the point of sale.
The color palette of the labels is based on the products themselves: green for cabbage, red for kimchi, yellow for mustard and purple for beets and so on.
A total of 58 labels, from different sizes, were designed, in addition, we were also responsible for connecting the customer with a label supplier from Denver, Colorado.
